Integrating Instagram with AxiomaBot allows your custom chatbot to communicate directly with customers via your Instagram pages. This integration also enables you to take over the conversation whenever you want and communicate with users yourself through Instagram’s direct messaging. Perquisites
You will need the following:
- An Instagram Professional Account.
- A Facebook Page connected to that account.
Connecting Instagram
1. First navigate to the instagram page settings for you Professional Account, then under ‘How others can interact with you’, click on Messages and story replies > Message controls > Allow Access to Messages
2. Navigate to your Chatbots page, and create or pick a chatbot.
3. Under the Integrations, click on Instagram icon
4. Click on Connect and login to your Instagram Professional account
5. Click on Allow sharing information
7. Login to instagram.
8. Choose the businesses affiliated with your Instagram page. If you have no business select Opt in all current future businesses.
9. Select the Instagram page you want to integrate
11. Click save.
12. Your page should be integrated successfully.
13. Once connected to Instagram, you can toggle the integration on or off without disrupting the connection. This feature enables a smooth transition to human intervention whenever needed.
